Is gourmet cuisine something you’ll only find in Is gourmet cuisine something you’ll only find in the big cities? Absolutely no! According to the Guide Michelin, the year 2022 saw one small family-run restaurant in Piesport rising to the top of Germany’s culinary scene.

Piesport is a small-town of 2000 inhabitants, nestled to the slopes along the river Moselle. A picturesque place in one of our foremost wine regions. It has been like that since Roman times. “Like an amphitheatre’s rows”, Roman poet Ausonius described the vineyards framing the river valley. Amidst this magnificent setting, the hotel and restaurant Schanz offers elegant logding in 12 individual guest rooms and world class cuisine. In 2022, Thomas Schanz received his 3rd Michelin Star which earned him rank as Germany's foremost chef. Congratulations @schanz.restaurant.hotel

Travelling to Germany is smooth and easy. The long Travelling to Germany is smooth and easy. The longer your journey, the more likely you are to arrive to Frankfurt Airport.

It is by far the largest German airport and one of the busiest in Europe. It serves as a hub for our national carrier Lufthansa. To most of the world’s largest airlines, it is a gateway to Germany and other European countries. It goes by the nickname “Fraport”. With dozens of daily connections from all corners of the world, it caters to famous tourist destinations such as the Black Forest, Heidelberg and the Rhine Valley with its castles and vineyards. Besides the city of Frankfurt itself.

Frankfurt is Germany’s 5th largest city and a global financial hub. Within Europe it is famous for its skyline, trade fairs and its cosmopolitan flair. Few people know, that the old “Kaiserstadt” was the cradle of German democracy and came close to being the capital of Germany. It is a clean and modern city with a high standard of living; surrounded by green rolling hills and blessed with a temperate climate.

Long distance trains from all over Germany call at Frankfurt airport. Commuter trains connect to the city centre in less than 20 minutes. We are happy to provide a VIP welcome experience, guide service and private transfers wherever the final destination may be. To seasoned travellers, it may be an airport only. Yet, representing the first and the last moments of your stay, we attach great importance to making your trip as smooth and comfortable as possible. Welcome to Germany!

What's Tantris? According to Buddhist doctrine, T What's Tantris?

According to Buddhist doctrine, Tantris is searching for perfection. Tantris is and has long been an address for gourmets in Munich. To their own understanding, Tantris is family, connection, togetherness.

There is a fascinating story to tell about Tantris. This is not the right place for reminiscence. Suffice to say, its history goes back to 1971. The family business was the first restaurant in Germany to hold 2 Michelin stars. After thorough renovations, it reopened in 2021. Consisting of two restaurants and a bar, its cuisine ranks among the best in Germany.

The Tantris Maison Culinaire labels itself a house of gourmet hospitality and savoir-vivre. Perfection? We urge you to find out for yourself.
